Restorative Community Pathways
Youth Empowerment, Justice for AlL
A Community-Centered Approach to Accountability & Healing
Restorative Community Pathways (RCP) provides an alternative to traditional prosecution, offering support, healing, and accountability for youth and those impacted by harm. It’s a pre-court diversion program available to youth accused of first-time felony offenses throughout King County. Instead of facing criminal charges, eligible youth are referred by the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office to the RCP Consortium, where they receive care and guidance from community navigators.
The program is a partnership between six local nonprofit organizations: CHOOSE 180, Collective Justice, Congolese Integration Network, Creative Justice, East African Community Services, and the Pacific Islander Community Association of Washington (PICA).

Our Process:
Referral & Connection
Youth and persons who experienced harm are connected with two dedicated community navigators
Navigators provide immediate support and ensure both parties receive care through the RCP Consortium.
2. Support & Accountability
Youth receive guidance in three key areas:
Restorative Justice & Healing – Addressing harm, promoting accountability, and fostering healing.
Connection – Building relationships with mentors, peers, and positive influences.
Community – Long-term engagement with programs that align with the youth’s goals.
3. Ongoing Weekly Check-Ins
Community navigators maintain weekly contact to track progress, support healing, and ensure accountability.
4. Long-Term Community Integration
Navigators help youth build lasting connections with community programs both within and beyond the RCP network.
Why RCP?
RCP shifts the focus from punishment to restoration and growth, ensuring youth are supported while taking responsibility for their actions. By addressing root causes and fostering community connections, we help create a future built on healing, accountability, and opportunity.
Restoring harm. Rebuilding futures. Strengthening communities.
